Christmas 2020

Christmas is a wonderful time to catch up with family and friends, and a moment to rejoice in the Birth of Jesus Christ.  But this year - because of the Coronavirus Pandemic - it is going to be a very different celebration for everyone.  The Catholic Parishes of St Christopher and St Thomas of Canterbury will continue to offer you a warm welcome as we gather to celebrate Jesus's Birth!

Due to Social Distancing restrictions that are currently in place, the capacity in both of our churches is drastically lower than it usually is. Therefore...

...if you wish to attend Holy Mass on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in either of our churches you will need to a ticket!

Tickets are completely free, but without one you will be unable to get into the church.  Both of the Vigil Masses are now fully booked.

Each person attending Mass will need their own ticket.  We are also being advised to abide by the government's "Rule of Six" which means that your group cannot be larger than six people sitting together.  Inline with government regulations, face coverings/masks must be worn at all times in church.
Also be aware that due to the requirement for ventilation, we have to have some windows and doors open, so the church might be a little chillier than it usually is - a warm coat and a scarf will be an excellent idea!
